The Great Composer

Baz Luhrmann has found his guy.

In a bid to EGOTing during his career, it looks like none other than Jay-Z will be composing the score for the director’s upcoming The Great Gatsby. Jeymes Samuels of The Bullitts confirmed the right shortly 2012 ended.

Evidently, the choice was a no-brainer for Luhrmann.

Isla Fisher, who plays Myrtle Wilson, has revealed that Jay-Z’s music was pumped on set for her, and his “No Church in the Wild,” one his collaborations with Kanye West, also was prominently used in the films (latest) trailer.

So excited about this, yo.
