Familial blood ties quite literally are at the center of the upcoming psychological thriller Stoker.
The movie opening on March 1 was written by Wentworth Miller (TV’s Prison Break), and directed by the South Korean helmer of Oldboy, Park Chan-wook, in his English-language debut.
It stars Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, and Nicole Kidman, and follows the story that unfolds after the Stoker family’s patriarch dies and his brother (Goode) suddenly appears in the lives of the wife (Kidman) and daughter (Wasikowska) he left behind, drawing their interest in some hella-creepy ways
It all gets a little incestuous and beyond-mysterious, which should prove rather engrossing for us to watch from the comfort of a movie theater seat.
I know I’m intrigued about the shenanigans of this particular clan.
