A year ago, the Linda Lovelace biopic Lovelace was in a bit of turmoil because Demi Moore was having a meltdown.
Sarah Jessica Parker was quickly hired to replace her as Gloria Steinem, and the project was able to remain on track.
Cut to a week from today, which is when the Amanda Seyfried-fronted Lovelace will make its debut at the Sundance Film Festival.
Check out this pic of the actress in character and at work as the 1970s porn star.
If the indie doesn’t heat up Utah, its cast sure will: Aside from the aforementioned three ladies the ensemble features Chris Noth, Hank Azaria, Adam Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Wes Bentley, Juno Temple, James Franco, and Peter Sarsgaard.

Update: Ooh, burn.
SJP’s part in Lovelace has been left on the cutting room floor.
Turns out, directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman didn’t need the character, after all. The film originally was meant to end in 1984, with Lovelace going back to her real-life name of Linda Boreman and becoming affiliated as an anti-porn advocate with the icon of feminism. But Epstein and and Friedman decided to end the film in 1980 instead.
Guess we are just gonna have to hope for some DVD extras, huh.
