The powers that be have cast Chad Michael Collins in the role of good-natured and idealistic military man Gerhardt, Dr. Whale’s younger bro and “the kind of son any parent would be proud of.”
Collins is slated to appear in one episode later this season, but since Dr. Whale’s fairy-tale alter ego recently was revealed to be – Spoiler Alert! – Dr. Frankenstein, it’s safe to assume Collins also will be playing the good doctor’s electrically reanimated brother.
Which means that the actor could very well recur on the show. The revelation surrounding Anders’ character added a whole new layer to its mythology, after all.
