The Patient, A Murder, and a Mystery

Channing Tatum likes working with Steven Soderbergh – he told me so himself – which is why he did a little part in Side Effects.

Come Feb. 8, you can catch him as the husband of Academy Award nominee Rooney Mara, who stars in the movie as a woman who, stressed over the release of her incarcerated love, turns to medication that makes her feel better...but also, maybe, murderous?

Uh huh. Ergo the movie’s title.

Anyway, Jude Law co-stars as Mara’s character’s shrink. Catherine Zeta-Jones also has a part in the thing, although, from the look of the trailer, her role is a bit more mysterious.

So is who gets killed, for that matter, as well as, of course, who could be behind the act.
