As rumored after the games wrapped and the kid walked away with many a medal, Lochte will be diving into the reality-TV pool thanks to E!, which has given a six-ep green light to What Would Ryan Lochte Do? for an April berth.
The brass over there at the once-cool cabler thinks that the show will make us want to be the swimmer, sleep with the guy, or – Unsexy Alert! – mother him.
Given that he’s the embodiment of cocky and that ain’t nobody got time for coddling, and that it’s safe to say the lot of us who’d care to already wouldn’t mind taking him for a few long wet laps, I say the show had better offer something else, too.
Full frontal or, at least, wetness on white clothing, for instance.
