Much to the chagrin of many, I’m sure, Disney is taking another one of its famous animated properties to Broadway come...spring 2014.
Why so long? ’Cause producers are waiting to take over the theater where Mary Poppins is playing until March, and then they are going to wait on some serious renovatin’ to be done before they move the magic carpet ride in.
And, you know what? I’m kinda excited, actually.
After all, I did drag my dad to see that movie some 33 times a lot when I was a kid.
Oh, yes I did.
