The View from the Bridge star is set to headline another revival on the Great White Way, that of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Tennessee Williams’ 1955 tale of greed, family, and sexual repression in the South. The show last hit the New York boards less than five years ago, as an all-black production with Anika Noni Rose and Terrence Howard in the leads.
And there’s only one way to describe how Johansson looks as Maggie the cat: S. Pec. Tacular.
Bet she’s pretty darn good, too. In fact, she is, according to co-star Debra Monk. Ditto Benjamin Walker as Brick.
The show is currently in previews and is set to open officially on Jan. 17.
