I say this because I know (I got to interview the Cougar Town funny guy last year), and because he’s literally rocking – punk-rocking – his way to a movie theater near you.
Well, ish.
Hopkins is gonna play Juliette Lewis’ husband in the indie Kelly and Cal, the story of two former punk rockers who have become totally uneventful suburbanites in their middle age (his character will be a boring ad exec guy when we meet him) and the boy with whom one of the forges a bond.
So, yeah, the Cal of the title won’t be Hopkins but rather a teenager recuperating from a car crash that Lewis’ miserable-in-her-life Kelly befriends.
Which means trouble, I bet.
