Pause for geekasm.
And we’re back.
Alright, here’s the meat of the scoop: Director Zack Snyder announced at the Con this weekend that his forthcoming Man of Steel sequel – opening in 2015 – will feature both Superman (duh!) and the Caped Crusader (ergo the Superman-meets-Batman logo at right).
Maybe working together, maybe fighting each other. Maybe fighting each other then working together.
Snyder didn’t say that much more except for this: Bruce Wayne’s relationship with Clark Kent (and/or his alter ego) could make some of the most hardcore comic fans think of the 1980 tome The Dark Knight Returns.
Time to GTS.

Update: On a related note, Warner Bros. is also said to be prepping a Flash movie and the much-anticipated Justice League movie for 2016 and 2017, respectively.
