The up-and-coming actress – a TV vet who starred on The CW’s The Secret Circle two seasons ago and is currently appearing on the CBS adaptation of Stephen King’s Under the Dome – has landed the female lead in Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland.
Robertson joins George Clooney and Hugh Laurie in the project written by Damon Lindelof (TV’s Lost) and Entertainment Weekly senior writer Jeff Jensen. She’ll play a tech-savvy high school girl on a journey to reclaim her future.
I am guessing that sexy beast Clooney will be aiding her somehow, since Laurie is said to be playing the film’s bad guy.
Tomorrowland is due out on screens in December 2014.
