That crowd-pleaser from last summer o.k.a. as the blockbuster based on the earlier life of one Sexiest Man Alive Channing Tatum is poised to take the Great White Way by storm real soon.
Magic Mike, The Musical is a hot, hot project, so we could be looking at a fall 2014 or spring 2015 opening.

Now that he’s retired from taking a break from film, director Steven Soderbergh will be producing the show (with Tatum and other colleagues from the movie).
The show’s book will be written by Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark’s Roberto Aguirre-Sacassa, while Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal) are handling the songs.
