The John Wells-directed adaptation of Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play is led by Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts and features performances by Abigail Breslin, Chris Cooper, Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliette Lewis, Margo Martindale, and Ewan McGregor, and Sam Shepard.
The buzzy George Clooney-produced film centers on the strong-willed women of the Weston family of Oklahoma, all of whom put their estrangements and judgments aside to come together in the house they grew up to mourn their secretive patriarch.
