Here Come the TV Grooms?

It has been almost a week since the Supreme Court of the United States said that DOMA was unconstitutional (right on!), so you know what that means.

Change is a-comin’ to TV, too.

Ever since the ruling was announced the question in some circles became whether the move would translate into wedding bells for one of the tube’s most visible and well-liked same-sex couples, Modern Family’s Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson).

And the simplest answer is maybe.

“It’s a real possibility [now],” said Christopher Lloyd, one of the show’s creators, before adding that nothing of the sort was attempting previously due to creative decisions. “It’s certainly something we are contemplating in ways we wouldn’t have in prior seasons.”

So don’t get excited quite just yet, but y’ know...don’t not look forward to this gwedding happening some time during a sweeps period before the show goes off the air.
