A British Wimbledon

I don’t watch much tennis, but even I cannot deny yesterdays men’s finals at Wimbledon was one for the books thanks to Andy Murray.

So I’m a little caught up in the excitement.

Not only did the Brit – a Scot, to be precise – win his first Wimbledon, he also ensured the trophy stayed at home in Great Britain for the first time in 77 years when he defeated Novak Djokovic in three sets.

“Can’t believe what’s just happened!!!!!!!,” he tweeted after the game.

Well, believe it, guy. Brits just do it better sometimes.

Alas, unlike he did in Miami in the spring when he won the Sony Open, Murray did not celebrate all shirtless and wet and stuff – but he did party.
