The groundbreaking director was planning on shooting a part 2 and a part 3 of his billion-dollar Oscar-nominated film – to be released over the 2014 and 2015 holidays – but he’s figured that you know what...that just wa’n’t gonna cut it.
So he’s working on a sequel, a threequel, and a fourthquel.
To that end, Cameron has hired a troupe of screenwriters – War of the Worlds’ Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, who wrote Rise of the Planets of the Apes, and Savages’ Shane Salerno – to help him flesh out the world of Avatar.
