Watch Out for the Plane, the Plane!

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry is planning something major for November sweeps: a neighborhood plane crash.

“It’s going to be my cliffhanger for the first half of the season,” he said of the tragedy, which, he adds, will “affect everyone’s lives.”

The story is still in the planning stages, so the particulars – including just who’ll be on board the small aircraft (and who’ll be in its path) – are still TBD. But, Cherry says, no housewives will be harmed in the making of this story line.

“I’d love to kill somebody ’cause that’s just what I do,” he added. “But the truth is, right now I don’t have anyone major dying.”
