Another Big Star Hits the Boards

Broadway is busting at the seams with A-Listers this season, so the West End is stepping up its game.

Keira Knightley is set to make her debut in London in a new production of Moliere’s The Misanthrope.

The actress will star opposite Damian Lewis and Tara Fitzgerald in the play, which updates the story from 17th century Paris to contemporary London’s entertainment scene. It is set to open on Dec. 17 and run through next March.

Knightley will play an ambitious American film star named Jennifer, who attracts Lewis’ character.
