From Wonderland to Eternity

Australian up-and-comer Mia Wasikowska, a.k.a. 1 Alice in Tim Burton’s upcoming Alice in Wonderland, a.k.a. 2 suicidal gymnast Sophie on HBO’s In Treatment, will play the female lead role in Restless, Gus Van Sant’s follow-up to Milk.

Wasikowska will star as a terminally ill 16-year-old who falls in love with a death-obsessed teenage boy.

Restless was written by first-time screenwriter Jason Lew. Ron Howard and his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard are co-producing the film.
