Oklahoma’s Hollywood Hero

George Clooney’s busy in Europe shooting a film, so Blake Shelton’s picking up the slack and leading the way organizing a benefit for victims of the monster Oklahoma tornado that claimed at least 24 lives last Monday.

The Healing In the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert will air live on NBC next Wednesday, May 29, at 9 p.m., live from Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena. Funds raised will go toward the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

Joining the Voice coach on stage will be his wife and fellow country star Miranda Lambert, as well as Oklahoma kids Reba McEntire and Vince Gill, with more acts to be announced in the hours ahead.

I can only imagine Shelton’s work husband, Adam Levine, will be there.
