At least to escape all the drama every once in a while and feel a little safer...while watching TV.
So Kiefer Sutherland & Co. are bringing back the hero for a limited engagement.
Fox has an upfront presentation of its new fall season programming today, so we can expect more details to be available later, but this much is known: the plan is for Jack to save the world once more in the span of a 12-ep period.

24 will be back next May, as 24: Live Another Day, and will be part of Fox’s plan to air event programming during the summer.
Producers said at the upfront presentation that this works infinitely better than a stand-alone film, for Jack Bauer’s world simply could not be condensed into two measly hours.
