Indeed, the actress has Pedro & Maria, a Romeo and Juliet-inspired telenovela project in development as a limited series at the Alphabet Network.
Here’s a little trivia: The show was originally conceived as an interactive endeavor for MTV three years ago, meaning the audience would be invited to vote and help decide on certain faiths of the characters. That gimmick may or may not still be in play.
Should it be picked up, Pedro & Maria would air consecutively in between blocks of consecutive fall and spring episodes of shows like Grey’s Anatomy or Scandal.
