Smokin’ Aces

It’s the pairing we never knew we wanted: Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, yo.

The guy’s guys are set to co-star in this Aug. 2’s 2 Guns, which has all the makings of a huge sleeper hit, if I say so right now.

Let’s see, there’s Denzel as a DEA agent (undercover) and Wahlberg as a Special Forces agent (also undercover), working together (and each other) to rob a bank. They make out with $40 million (and then realize that they’re both working on the right side of the law).

They’ve been set up...and then set up again – to work together and get back at who set them up to begin with. Follow me?

Paula Patton and James Marsden co-star. So yum for those two. And woo-hoo for 2 Guns. Imma have fun watching this one.
