That’s ’cause the Jay-Z-scored 3-D film extravaganza starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, and Isla Fisher has been tapped to open this year’s Cannes Film Festival on May 15.
So you can expect Leo & Co. to be the darlings de la Croisette early into the festival and beyond, for the film will have opened stateside by then.
And now, on a side now: I wanna Cannes, Cannes, Cannes!
