The Michael Clayton Oscar winner has taken up part-time residence at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City for a month, as part of a pop-up performance piece (of art) known as “The Maybe.”
Per the brass at the MoMa, the actress will turn up at the museum, unannounced, randomly, and spend the entire day in a glass box containing nothing but cushions and a jug of water.
Oh, and FYI, the box will never be in the same spot twice. It made its debut by the side of the ticket collectors yesterday, and no one but Swinton knows where and when it will pop up again.
So if you’re in the Big Apple.... Oh, and, please, don’t try to feed the Swinton.
