Yes, Miranda Priestly is making a comeback to a bookshelf near in Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns, Lauren Weisberger’s follow-up to the roman à clef that inspired the hit 2006 movie The Devil Wears Prada.
In the upcoming sequel, Andrea Sachs has blossomed into an editor herself, but not for a terribly serious publication but rather for The Plunge, the publishing world’s bridal bible, which she runs with her frenemy-turned-BFF Emily.
And while everything’s coming up roses – she’s engaged to take the plunge herself, with a handsome media scion named Max – Andrea is still haunted by her old boss, her frosty, tough-as-beyond-stylish-nails Runway editor, Miranda Priestly.
