Thank you, Madonna, for making me aware of Oscar Isaac, who is like, the next hot thing in Hollywood.
The Miami boy – whom I first noticed in my Queen’s W.E. and was, apparently, in Drive – has nabbed the starring role in an indie titled Partisan from Ariel Kleiman, a Jury Prize winner for Best International Short at Sundance two years ago.
The project will tell the confronting story of a father seeking revenge against a world that’s done him wrong.
Up next for Isaac, though, is the titular role in the Coen brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis, opposite John Goodman, Carey Mulligan, and Justin Timberlake.
