First Sean Hayes, then Ricky Martin, and now…Justin Suarez.Mark Indelicato’s (pictured here, to the right) fabulous Ugly Betty character is coming out tonight as a gay teen.
Click here if you want to spoil yourself and watch his big scene, but if you don’t, know that the powers that be over at the show have crafted what is truly a beautifully honest and moving moment for Justin that plays without pretention.
It’s just one of the reasons why I’m so crushed to see Ugly Betty go off the air (the finale is set for next week). The show has broken ground in so many ways, from putting a Latina character front and center to now this – I will miss it so.
