Living the Life

Zac Efron is spicing things up.

The actor, whose post-High School Musical career is in serious need of a boost (
17 Again did OK, but Me and Orson Welles was strictly an art house offering, not a blockbuster), is producing and starring in a remake of Snabba Cash.

The original movie was a Swedish thriller based on a novel about three friends involved in the drug trade and organized crime. Efron, of course, will play the lead role of a money launderer trying to strike it rich by running coke for a dealer.

That’s the way it goes in Hollywood – when you need to be perceived as edgy, you turn to drugs (albeit, one would hope, figuratively, not literally)
