The Lady Who Will Be First Lady

Oscar winner Rachel Weisz is going to play Jackie Kennedy for her husband, director Darren Aronofsky.

Jackie will follow the four days between JFK’s assassination and his burial, showing his beloved widow at both her most vulnerable and her most graceful.

Good luck to Weisz – being a Brit taking on a thoroughly American icon will prove a thankless job (and a bit of a trend, right Hayley Atwell?) – and to her and Aronofsky (I hope they don’t fall prey to the curse of Hollywood husband-and-wife teams working together and then splitting).
