Indeed, the Academy Award winner has set up the adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Americanah as one of her next projects (you know...on top of Jon Favreau’s Jungle Book adaptation and that little indie known as Star Wars: Episode VII).
Nyong’o will produce and star in the moviefication of the 2013 National Book Critics Circle Award winner (Fiction category), an epic love story that centers on two Nigerians and is set against the backdrop of the modern-day immigrant experience.
Work it, girl.
