Evidently, the Cumber-stud was quite keen on getting the Philomena star to opposite him in an upcoming BBC adaptation of Richard III that, in somewhat-desperate public display unbecoming a British lad, he interrupted this master class on Shakespeare that the actress was giving to ask if she would act in the project with him.

And girlfriend, egged on by the rest of the house, said OK.

Hey...he wanted it, he got it.

FYI: Dench will be realizing the part of Queen Margaret.
