The son of Goldie and Kurt will co-star opposite Alex Karpovsky (HBO’s Girls) in Folk Hero & Funny Guy, a forthcoming buddy comedy about a struggling comic (Karpovsky) who goes on the road with an MSF (more successful friend) of his (the titular singer-songwriter, the character that Russell will portray).
Because why?
Anyway, Hello I Must Be Going’s Melanie Lynskey also will be featured in the film. Which automatically makes me think this project will have a nice wistful tone to it.
