And Now, A Message from President Snow

No question about it, the publicity “propaganda” machine for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay movies (the first of which will fly into theaters this November) is in full swing.

Last week, we got a heroes-of-Panem campaign that served as a thinly veiled reminder to folks that the system that the Capitol has put in place must always come first.

And now this week, we’ve gotten a message from President Snow (Kiefer Sutherland) himself, chillingly reminding his people that the Capitol is the beating heart of Panem, and issuing ’em a clear warning: “If you fight against it, it is you who will bleed.

Given the fact that Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta Mellark – last seen being taken by the Capitol at the end of last fall’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire – is standing right there by Snow’s side, all blank, vacant stares into the void, it is easy to infer that this is a message for Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen, the reluctant face of the rebellion against the Capitol. Watch it for yourself:

Oh, it is on!
