One of my favorite things to look at from Hollywood has signed on to play legendary – I presume the guy is a legend – University of Texas coach Darrell Royal, in My All American.
Since the movie will be based on an inspiring real-life story, My All American will chronicle how Eckhart’s winning character developed a special relationship with Freddie Steinmark (Noah’s Finn Wittrock), a standout player whose bright future in football was dimmed by a cancerous tumor claimed his leg.
Production is set to kick off in Austin next month.
