Dancing and Singing...for Jesus

“When Jesus says yes, nobody can say no.”

Seriously, that is the hook of this new song I am sorta digging right now, “Say Yes!” Which is a song that I can only describe as the bangiest gospel club-banger that I have ever heard.

One that comes from that other Child of Destiny, gospel enthusiast Michelle Williams.

And I gotta admit: That s---’s catchy.

Williams just may have a bit of a hit in certain circles her hands, too, for the song has the potential to be kinda huge. See, her sisters are on it, singing along and encouraging us to shake it for Jesus.

I am, of course, talking about Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. Even Solange Knowles was invited to the party (because she just couldn’t say no).

Like Him, they are all right there with Williams on this one, a track off her upcoming gospel album Journey to Freedom – and an occasion that also marks the first time that Destiny’s Child have cut a record together since 2013’s “Nuclear.”

Imma go play it one more time now.
