Not only is Jennifer Lawrence already set to star, but now comes word that Robert DeNiro is also circling a part in the project about Joy Mangano, the Long Island single mom who invented the Miracle Mop.
DeNiro would play Mangano’s father.
Russell is currently rewriting the original script by Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids) for a potential early-February start of shooting.
