So this much was clear about The Avengers: Age of Ultron: We would not be seeing Tom Hiddleston’s Loki taking part of the action.
Ah, but since Marvel just announced that its plans for total superhero-world domination do, of course, include a Thor threequel titled Thor: Ragnarok, the powers that be have decided to have the fan-favorite character join in on the fun. Ish.
So now Loki will more than likely be seen during the upcoming sequel’s post-credit scenes.
This much Idris Elba confirmed when he told the Telegraph that he is, “doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [who, as you know, plays the titular mighty Norse warrior god] and Tom Hiddleston” for the May 2015 release.
Elba portrays Heimdall in the movies. Both Loki and Heimdall were seen on screen in last year’s Thor: The Dark World.
So there you have it. Reason 1,001 to be excited about The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
