Old habits....
Jessica Chastain may be front and center these days thanks to Interstellar, but the prolific actress is also having A Most Violent Year.
At the movies, of course.
Chastain is co-starring with Oscar Isaac in J.C. Chandor’s latest, a period piece (OK, that is a bit of a stretch – the film is set in 1991 New York City), as the force-to-be-reckoned-with-wife of an ambitious fuel-oil businessman (that would be the Inside Llewyn Davis actor) on the brink of greatness by force.
A Most Violent Year premiered at the AFI Fest last week and will be in theaters by New Year’s Eve.
Can’t wait. Especially because I seem to have missed The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby quite irreparably. Well...at least until it comes out on DVD or whatever.
