Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin had pretty much confirmed last week that the Oscar winner would play the late Apple genius (Seth Rogen is circling the part of Steve Wozniak) in a forthcoming Danny Boyle-helmed biopic of the guy.
But it seems the actor has decided that he is just not right for the part.
And so a search for a star continues.
Bale is not the first thespian to say no to boldly going where only Ashton Kutcher has gone before. Meaning to playing Jobs on film.
Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly also turned down the Boyle-Sorkin joint.
