Blunt is eyeing a starring role in Friend’s feature-film directorial debut, a project that he also wrote and will produce titled Barton & Charlie & Checco & Bill.
The movie – which is scheduled to start shooting next spring – will revolve around a down-on-his-luck con artist who meets a woman he takes on as an apprentice (only to see her turn the tables on him and talk him into taking a con of her own on the road).
