A Gay Lullaby in Rap

Bravi, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (pictured at right, at left and at right, respectively).

I cannot remember a time when I heard a successful rap act sing about equality and gay rights quite the way these guys are in “Same Love,” featuring Mary Lambert.

I love it.

The song, the stand, the message.... The risk (let’s be real about that one). All of it.

There is no difference, indeed.

I am deeply moved right now.
