From Gatsby to Mystic

Leonardo DiCaprio can see Russia from where he’s standing.

The Great Gatsby star is attached to play the titular role in Rasputin, a new film about the infamous Russian mystic who became an advisor for the Russian Imperial family.

Evidently, the script will not like, focus on what we think we know about the fella – like how he had a hand in that whole Anastasia Romanov affair – but on the elements about his life that we don’t. For instance, didja know that Rasputin only began to straddle the line between right and wrong after his brother died?

Well, this DiCaprio project would illuminate that area of Rasputin’s life.

And, no doubt, serve as awards bait for the actor.
