A Royal Engagement

James Blunt is going to be busy on April 29.

The singer-songwriter has been booked to play a little gig that day…at Westminster Abbey.

Yeah, you may’ve heard of it: the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton? A small, simple affair, alright.

Blunt will not be singing, though. “I’m actually playing,” he said as he confirmed the news. “I’m playing the church organ there.”

Better not mess that one up, guy – the world will be watching.

Update: Hold the phone. Evidently, this was just Blunt’s idea of a good joke. He is not playing at Westminster Abbey...he’s just promoting his new record, Some Kind of Wonderful.
