It’s Lois

Another one of Hollywood’s most sought-after female roles has been filled.

Three-time Academy Award nominee Amy Adams will play Lois Lane for Zack Snyder, joining Henry Cavill, Diane Lane, and Kevin Costner in the forthcoming Man of Steel reboot.

“Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about. So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today,” the director said. “Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious, and, of course, beautiful.”

Couldn’t agree more.

Adams is a thinking-man’s choice. She’s not an It Girl anymore but an It Woman, and that kinda gives her a kinda depth, you know what I mean? Her Lois will be taken...seriously (just, please, don’t wear a wig, Amy).
