Going Under the Covers

This won’t please Auggie ’shippers: It looks like the sweet sexual tension between Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham’s character on USA Network’s Covert Affairs is getting a little more…tense now that an Aussie is hunking his way to the well-liked tube hit.

Ben Lawson – one of the stars of ABC’s defunct The Deep End – is joining the show as a charming Doctors Without Borders-type physician Annie (Perabo) meets when she takes her niece to the ER.

Sparks fly between the two because he gets how demanding her career is, although he doesn’t exactly need she works for the CIA.

Close calls will ensure, I’m sure.
