Glee fans and Gwyneth Paltrow haters shall rejoice when they hear this one: G.P. is going to be on Matthew Morrison’s upcoming solo debut, which already counts Elton John as a collaborator.Morrison reportedly asked Paltrow to sing on the album during one of her guesting stints on the TV show. They will be covering a tune very familiar to the actor and his Glee fans: “Over the Rainbow” (he auditioned for the show with the song and performed it on the first season finale).
“People kind of know me for that song now,” he said. “I wanted to do a duet with a female. I thought that was a good song to do, and we really did a different arrangement of it. It’s a lot of strings, and it’s beautiful.”
With G.P. on it how could it not be?
