The New Wave

It always happens: Hollywood people who do som’in’ eventually get the itch to do som’in’ else.

Jennifer Aniston is leading the charge for a group of women including Demi Moore and Alicia Keys that will be directing a new film endeavor for Lifetime called Project Five, five shorts that put together as one will depict the lives of different breast cancer sufferers.

“Our hope with Project Five is to entertain, inform, and inspire dialogue, research, and prevention. Otherwise, our goals are small,” Aniston said. “We want these films to move people and empower those affected by breast cancer to stand tall through this challenge, which impacts all of our lives, no matter who we are.”

Sounds interesting and very cool that these ladies are shining a light on this subject not in October only. And it gives them a chance to stretch, which is great: Aniston has directed before (a short called Room 10 for Glamour magazine), and so has Moore (a short called Streak). So good for them.
