Lucy Lane, not Lois Lane, will be part of the upcoming CBS superhero show Supergirl, starring Melissa Benoist and Calista Flockhart.
And Jenna Dewan-Tatum will be the one playing the role.
Lucy Lane is described as brash and funny. She’s Lois’ younger sister, but nevertheless very strong-minded and smart and successful in her own right.
Oh, and she has history with Jimmy Olsen, who will be portrayed on the show my Mehcad Brooks (HBO’s True Blood), so there’s that.
You can expect to see Dewan-Tatum make her debut on the show in November. And, maybe, some more after that: Evidently, Lucy Lane is the latest person to take on the Superwoman identity.
