Rebecca Ferguson is so It right now.
The actress is thisclose to joining Emily Blunt in The Girl on the Train, the adaptation of the Paula Hawkins novel about a lonely and oh-so-unreliable narrator who becomes a tad too involved with the lives of a couple she spies from afar during her daily train ride. She – I mean the Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation star, not Blunt – would play one of the three strong female characters in the Tate Taylor-directed production.
Ferguson also was in the mix to play the Bella Donna to Channing Tatum’s Gambit, but she reportedly has taken herself out of consideration.
Seems like someone has a focus, a superhero movies ain’t it.
